MR KUDAKWASHE BOYD, LLM (Stellenbosch University)
Kuda Boyd graduated with Masters in Mining Law (LLM) at the University of Stellenbosch in 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the same institution in December 2007.
Kuda received a bursary from Link-SA and Stonehage to study for his undergraduate degree.
While studying for his Masters, he was employed by the South African Research Chair in Property Law at the University of Stellenbosch.

TYRONE JOUBERT, B.Com Honors (UCT)
Tyrone is seen here with his parents when he graduated with his B Com degree in 2004. During his studies at UCT, Tyrone was placed on the Dean’s Merit List. Tyrone joined Investec in Cape Town, immediately after graduating. He presently holds the position of Private Banker.
Tyrone is now in the process of completing his CA (SA) through UNISA.
Tyrone flew to London in October 2009 to attend a fund-raising function and act as an ambassador for Link-SA. In his address to the guests he shared his experience of growing up in a disadvantaged community with virtually no chance of making it to university but for the bursary he received from Link-SA. |

In August 2009, Robert Gould who lives in New York, visited UCT. Several years ago, Robert had been an exchange student, and spent several months at this Cape Town university.
Robert is a keen supporter of Link-SA, and together with friends and colleagues, raised money to donate to the Trust towards the fee accounts of several Commerce students and students studying Business Science.

TARIRO MASAYITI, BSc (Viticulture & Oenology) Stellenbosch University, 2002

Mr Tariro Masayiti is presently employed by Nederberg, one of the best known wine producers in the country. He first joined The Bergkelder in 2003 as an assistant winemaker and after three vintages was ready for the challenge of a new position. “I am enormously enthused by the opportunity to extend myself. I treat every day as a learning experience and have come to recognise that in everything I do, what I get out depends on what I put in.”
He accepted a position as White Wine Maker at Nederberg during 2005 where he has won several prestigious awards for his unique blends of white cultivars. Tariro owes much of his success to Link-SA and Stonehage.

DR EITZAZ SADIQ, MBBCh (Wits)
Dr Eitzaz Sadiq graduated Cum Laude in 2005 after which he completed two years’ internship at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg. Subsequently, Eitzaz has been working in the Dept of Neurology at the Johannesburg General Hospital. At the same time he is studying towards a postgraduate degree to become a Specialist Neurologist. |

SUSAN MARSHALL (neé O’NEILL), BSc, UCT
Susan O’Neill was awarded a bursary from Link-SA Trust to study BSc Medical Science. She followed that qualification with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business management (UKZN).
After completing her studies, Susan joined Unilever where she is currently employed. After four years with the corporation she has held positions in Marketing and Customer Development on both Laundry and Personal Care and is presently the Assistant Global Brand Manager for Cleaner Planet Plan - Unilever's laundry environmental sustainability Initiative. |

SHAIMAL BHIKA – BCom Hons, Wits
Since completing his honours degree at Wits, Shaimal has worked for FNB, and is currently a Business Analyst.
His motto and life purpose is to help people realise their true potential and to be of service to humanity. He has dedicated himself to be a better person and follow Gandhi’s teaching: “We must become the change we seek in the world”.
Shaimal enjoys an active life, and takes part in various adventure sports. He likes to travel and meet new people. |
